Publishing conditions

1.Editorial procedure:

In order to send a material for publication in the Journal ‘Mitropolia Olteniei’ (MO), one must assume the fact that this material has never been published and neither is sent for publishing anywhere else. In the same time, the authors are asked to respect the conditions presented below. The materials considered outside the publishing purposes announced by our Redaction or with no interest for the readers, will be cancelled from publishing. This situation does not necessarily reflect the quality of the material but the incompatibility with the publishing politics of our Journal. The authors are informed if their texts are submitted for peer-review process. In order to know the peer-review process, you can see the rubric: The External and Internal Peer-Review Process.

2.The editing norms:

  1. The authors are asked to mention the following information: their full name, the profession, the scientific title, the institutional affiliation, their address and e-mail.
  2. The authors can send materials just for the next sections of our Journal: Studies, Translations, and Sermons, Commentaries, Meditations. For the sections Pastoral letters, Reviews and Events, it rests to the Redaction the right to publish the desired materials, which no longer will be submitted for the peer-review process.
  3. The authors can send the materials just in electronic format at one of the following e-mail address: adi_boldisor@yahoo.com or nutuapostolache@yahoo.com. The materials will be introduced by the section Key Words, usually 4 or 7 words, both in Romanian language and in an international language (English, French, German), which will be the language for the Abstract, situated at the end of the material. The Abstract will have between 500 – 1500 characters.
  4. The material has to be edited in Microsoft Word programme, in A4 format, the font Times New Roman with characters of size 12, without space between lines, and no longer than 15 pages (without bibliography). The texts in Greek and Hebrew must contain the necessary graphic fonts (accents, spirits etc.), separately attached, together with the material sent for publication. The characters introduced with ‘Insert/Symbol’ will not be used.
  5. All the texts sent for publishing must contain the Bibliography, which will not be published, but the peer-reviewers will read it when they will appreciate the scientific value of the texts.
